The White Ports
White Demi-Sec
Observation reveals a brightly color, going from a slight yellow to amber. At first, it develops the smell of dried apricot followed, when left to the air, by the combined tastes of dry fruits, raisin, mandarine, spices and cinnamon. In mouth, it's a slightly thick wine with a dominant taste of dry apricot. At last, its taste is quiet powerful and persisting.
Ideal conditions to taste it
- Temperature : 12°
- Suggestions : Appetizer and foie gras.
- A good advise : 1/3 of White Port, 2/3 of Ginger ale, ice and a slice of lemon.
